Terms & Conditions
These terms govern use of the DoQuietly website and Windows desktop application.
Effective date: 14 October 2026 · Publisher/brand: DoQuietly
DoQuietly is a window-visibility utility. It is not a tool for bypassing security controls, monitoring, or rules imposed by an organization, school, software provider, or device owner.
1. Who we are
“DoQuietly,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the DoQuietly product and its publisher/operator. If you need help with the product, billing, or these terms, use the contact details on our Contact page.
2. What the product does
DoQuietly is Windows desktop software that provides controls for managing the taskbar visibility of selected application windows. The interface includes a Start Stealth / Stop workflow and account-related status information. Features may change between releases.
DoQuietly does not guarantee that a window or application will be hidden from system administrators, security products, screen recording, monitoring software, other users, or operating-system tools. It is not an antivirus, encryption product, or complete privacy solution.
3. Eligibility and account security
You must provide accurate account information, protect access to your account, and use the application only on devices and in environments where you have permission to do so. You are responsible for activity performed using your account and for maintaining appropriate access to your email account.
4. License and permitted use
Subject to these terms and the status of your plan, DoQuietly grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the application for your personal or authorized desktop workflow. Account and device checks may be used to activate and manage entitlement. Do not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, tamper with, or attempt to circumvent licensing controls except where applicable law expressly permits it.
You must not use DoQuietly to facilitate unlawful activity, conceal malware, evade exam or proctoring rules, bypass workplace or school security controls, or interfere with another person's rights or systems.
5. Subscription plans, payments and renewals
Current listed plans are DoQuietly Pro Monthly at USD $9.99 per month and DoQuietly Pro Yearly at USD $79.99 per year. The price, renewal interval, taxes and other terms displayed in checkout at the time of purchase form part of your order.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until canceled. You authorize the payment provider to collect the amount and applicable charges shown at checkout for each renewal. You are responsible for reviewing the plan and renewal information before confirming the order.
6. Cancellation and access
You can request or manage cancellation using the cancellation route presented in the account/billing experience or by contacting support. The effective cancellation date and any remaining access depend on the billing state and the confirmation shown for your subscription. A billing provider notification and account entitlement status control paid access; merely visiting the checkout page does not activate a subscription.
7. Refunds
Refund requests are handled under our Refund Policy and applicable consumer-protection laws. Please include the transaction details available on your receipt when contacting support. Nothing in these terms limits mandatory rights that cannot legally be waived.
8. Privacy
Our handling of account and device-related information is described in the Privacy Policy. Payment-card details are entered through the payment provider's checkout rather than through a card form on this website.
9. Availability, updates and support
We aim to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every third-party application or Windows configuration. Updates, maintenance, changes in Windows behaviour, or third-party software may affect functionality. Support requests can be submitted through our Contact page.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website and software are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that they will meet every requirement or operate in every environment. We are not responsible for consequences arising from use in violation of an institution's, employer's, device owner's, or third-party application's rules. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Suspension or termination
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, investigate fraud or abuse, comply with legal obligations, or respond to a material violation of these terms. Where appropriate, we will provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect product, legal, or operational changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated. Continued use after the effective date means the revised terms apply to future use, to the extent permitted by law.
13. Governing law and contact
These terms are subject to applicable law and mandatory consumer-protection rights. Any dispute will be handled by the competent forum under applicable law. For questions about these terms, use Contact & Support.
